9 Jan 2008: Padu passed away this morning at 3am IST. The funeral will take place at 3pm at Chandanwadi, Mumbai.
5 Jan 2008: Our dearest friend Padu (class of 1983) is in ICU, battling for his life at Bombay's Bhatia Hospital after a series of medical complications.
Please send your thoughts, prayers and wishes to him and his family.
Wherever you are, and in whichever way you know, please join me in praying for a miracle. |

FOOTBALL MATCH - 12th January. We played the 8th and 9th class on Middle Field. Great fun and sportsmanship. We were no match for these youngsters and lost 0-8. CRICKET MATCH - 13th January. We played at the Lower Field. Lovely weather; very friendly game. |

Please note that the planned football and cricket matches, to be played against the Staff team on the 8th and 9th December 2007, have been postponed to the 12th and 13th January 2008.
Venues: - Football: 4.00 pm. Saturday 12th January 2008. Lower Field.
- Cricket: 9.00 am onwards. Sunday 13th January 2008. Sandy Banks. (20/20 basis)

The St. Peter's School, Panchgani, •Old Boys' Association invites its Alumni to The Annual General Meeting on 25th November 2007 at 4.30 pm at the Indian Gymkhana, Matunga East, Mumbai 400 019. Owing to consistent demand, we have also organized a cricket match at the same venue. We play with the big boys of the MIG Cricket Club starting 9.30 am sharp. The specific details are attached. Those in shape and seeking to participate, please confirm as soon as possible. We need 11 and a few reserves and the list will be drawn up on first-come, first-serve basis. Cost per head Rs.200.00 inclusive of lunch and gymkhana fees. We are keen to hear of any suggestions or points of view from the alumni on matters that could be of benefit to the Association and importantly the School. (see website).

Dear Sir,
Since time immemorial, generations of Peterites have made the school
motto their own. "Ut Prosim" means, and has always meant, humbly
and quite simply, "That I may serve".
The spirit of that motto is made crystal clear in every verse of the
School Song:
Ut Prosim, that we may fashion,
All our lives to serve the Nation.

Ut Prosim, my golden deed,
To help another in his need.
As a staunch Peterite, it pains me to observe a new, liberally-translated and
rather materialistic interpretation of the motto, as currently stated in the
School website and other material: |
