We are very pleased to inform that Mr. Roy Wordsworth is presently visiting Pune (Poona) till the end of this month. Mr. Wordsworth was a very popular Science and Mathematics teacher and taught us from the years 1950 to 1969. He was junior House Master of Ashlin House. He then migrated to Australia and presently resides in Sydney. |

Dear Friends,  The recent Panchi reunion which was held in London on 10th June 2006 was a fantastic event. Approximately 70 people attended, some of whom who had travelled great distances. There were lots of new faces this time and many friends were reunited. The food was good too! The feedback we received was good and it seems that everyone had a great time.
The atmosphere was one of a typical Panchi gathering, with fun, laughter, warmth and lots of fond old memories. Don Palmer gave and excellent speech during which he also paid a tribute to absent friends. Other Panchi friends who could not make it had sent some messages in and these too were read out during the speeches. A local newspaper has agreed to cover the event and we are in the process of writing up something for them. A group photograph will also appear in the paper. We hope that this will carry on as a regular annual event and that more and more people will join us every year. We have sad news of the demise of Mr Joe Davis, ex Vice Principal of our school.
He was a very popular teacher from the 1940s untill his retirement as Vice Principal in 1968.
He died in the early morning of Wednesday, 22nd December. The funeral takes place mid-morning today at Deolali, Nasik District, Maharashtra.
Mr. Davis was 88 years old, and leaves behind wife Tess, son Michael and daughter Zarin.
